Cabin owners and Pinecrest area users can help to build the XC ski/snowshoe network by:
(1) Help to shovel “cut throughs” at special defined points on the Pinecrest Cross Country Ski network map and help to define special routes and trails for the network.
Creating a "Cut Through" to help XC skiers and snowshoe'er navigate road snow berms
(2) Develop trails with parallel sets of tracks, one for cross country skiers and another for snowshoes, walkers and dogs.
(3) Organize social and recreational events to get trail users to connect including tours, lessons, kids events, and night skis.
(4) Distribute Pinecrest Cross Country ski network maps to your friends and fellow users
(5) Encourage local merchants to rent, sell and service cross country skiing and snow shoe equipment for users to help promote the network.
(6) Develop and mark cross country ski and snow shoe trail connections to Strawberry and other cross country areas like Crabtree, Gooseberry and Dodge Ridge
(7) Introduce more users to cross country skiing and snow shoeing.
